The Kinloch Club Taupo

Set in the tranquil 254-ha grounds of the Kinloch Club golf course, on the shores of Lake Taupo, the scenic hub of New Zealand’s North Island, this modern uber-luxury Lodge has been designed by multi-award winning Andrew Patterson of Patterson Architects. The Lodge interiors have been masterfully designed by Virginia Fisher who is renowned for her work involving luxury lodges and hotels both in New Zealand and around the world.

Their brief was to emulate a version of the Kinloch region namesake Scottish castle, but with a truly modern 21st century design concept. The main lodge, with local schist stone exteriors features dramatic framed vistas of the sensational views of the golf course and the ever changing Lake Taupo.

​A short stroll from the lodge are the luxury 1 and 2 bedroom villas and 1 bedroom junior suites, which are ‘quiet’ in design and harmonize with the magnificent natural setting of this 18-hole lakeside links course. Dark stained villa exteriors lead from outdoor patios and furnished terraces to interiors of calm and sophistication. Experience huge views of the course and lake, carbon neutral fireplaces, oak floors, sumptuous handmade New Zealand rugs and luxurious bathrooms with stand-alone tubs in all en suites, enveloping you with a feeling of peace.

JUNIOR SUITE: Perfect for couples and single travellers, the one bedroom Junior Suite features beautiful oak floors covered by a handmade New Zealand rug, a large luxurious bathroom with a freestanding bathtub, and a spacious closet.

ONE BEDROOM VILLA The one bedroom villa creates a peaceful atmosphere with beautiful oak floors, a carbon-neutral fireplace, sumptuous handmade New Zealand rugs, and standalone bathtub. The Villa includes laundry facilities, a full kitchen, a furnished private terrace, and a private courtyard for outside dining.

TWO BEDROOM VILLA The Two Bedroom Villa is outfitted with beautiful oak floors, a carbon-neutral fireplace, sumptuous handmade New Zealand rugs, and luxurious standalone bathtubs. The Villa includes two bedrooms, two bathrooms, laundry facilities, a full kitchen, two furnished private terraces, and a private courtyard.
