Tatamoana (Villa One) accommodates two couples or a family of four with two generous bedrooms and bathrooms on either side of the living area, and this villa’s sunny aspect creates a warm, relaxing, and inviting environment. The master bedroom opens through to dressing a room and then into the en suite which features floor-to-ceiling glass, giving the impression of luxury outdoor bathing. There is an open plan living-dining area with views out across the deck and pool to Lake Taupo’s Mine Bay, a full kitchen, and a laundry. 

Onsite, this luxury villa has a private lap pool for guest use and fantastic outdoor entertaining areas so you can make the most of the breathtaking views.  In the close surrounding vicinity of Tatamoana you’ll find plenty to keep you active:  Kayaking, swimming in the lake, exploring the caves, tennis, petanque, croquet, picnics, walks, excellent cycling routes, fishing off the rocks (or jumping off the rocks for the more adventurous!), trying to catch cockabillies in the Boat Harbour or even twilight searches for fireflies – it’s all about having fun!

The wider Taupo region will also keep you busy with unique experiences close by; Golf at world-renowned golf courses,  take a private helicopter from the onsite helipad to access hidden fly-fishing rivers with your own personal guide, the active and fit can take a trek across world-famous Tongariro Alpine Crossing, or finish the day with a romantic sunset cruise complete with champagne – picking up right from The Point’s own jetty.
