Fiona
FOUNDER & DIRECTOR
Fiona arrived in Queenstown in 1992 for a summer and she loved it so much that she stayed. After a very successful career in Tourism, working in various positions throughout the country, Fiona founded MajorDomo in 2013.
Loving the daily excitement of working with travellers, agents and property owners Fiona has worked as a Director since MajorDomo was established. In recognition of her long-standing contribution to the tourism industry, Fiona was named a Finalist for the Auckland Airport Tourism Industry Champion Award 2025 – an honour that celebrates outstanding tourism professionals with more than 10 years of experience in the industry.
When she isn’t meeting with agents, scouting properties and catching up with the team, Fiona can be found with her family enjoying the beautiful seasons of Queenstown and our amazing outdoors. When time allows, she also loves jumping on a plane to explore other fabulous parts of the world.
Charlotte
GENERAL MANAGER
Originally from the UK, Charlotte (Charlie) left England in 2010 to hop all around the world on global travels before finally settling amongst the mountains and lakes in Queenstown.
With over 10 years’ experience in Sales and Marketing within the tourism industry prior to MajorDomo, Charlie originally joined MajorDomo in December 2016.
When she isn’t busy seeking new sales opportunities, managing our brand and marketing our portfolio, Charlie loves to spend time with her family outdoors and can be found making the most of the Central Otago region; she loves hitting the slopes on her snowboard, adventuring on a hike or stand up paddleboarding.
Aoife
MARKETING MANAGER
Originally from London, Aoife brings a wealth of international marketing experience to the team, with previous experience in the industry at an Accomodation & Property Care company based in Whistler, BC. She further honed her skills at a PR & Inbound Marketing agency in the UK, before making the exciting move to beautiful New Zealand at the beginning of 2024.
Aoife was drawn to Queenstown by its stunning natural beauty and vibrant outdoor scene. She loves to spend her downtime hiking, biking, ski touring, and exploring the breathtaking landscapes surrounding Queenstown.
Gio
SALES & RESERVATIONS
Originally from Brazil, Gio moved to Queenstown in 2019 and has since built an strong background in tourism, working in luxury lodges, premium accommodation, and wineries.
With a passion for interior design, art, and creativity, Gio brings a keen eye for detail to everything she does. She loves creating personalised itineraries that reflect each guest’s style and interests, and as a true foodie who’s explored much of Queenstown’s dining scene, she’s always ready with a great restaurant recommendation!
Outside of work, she enjoys Pilates, the gym, and cooking, and she also coordinates a support group for immigrant women in the community.
Jemima
SALES & RESERVATIONS
Born and raised in Tahuna, Queenstown, Jemima has a strong connection to the region and a real appreciation for what makes it special.. With a background in Business and Psychology, she’s always been interested in what makes people tick and what turns a good stay into a great one.
Her career began in luxury hospitality and wineries, where she found her stride creating thoughtful, personalised experiences for guests.
Now at MajorDomo, Jemima brings that same care and attention to every booking, working closely with the team to help guests feel at home and create stays they’ll remember forever.
Melanie
SALES & RESERVATIONS
Originally from Germany, Melanie made the move to Queenstown in 2019 and quickly fell in love with the town. For several years, she split her time between New Zealand and Switzerland, following the summer seasons and making the most of both worlds.
With a background in tourism in Switzerland, where she worked in and managed a tourism company, and further experience across tourism and property in New Zealand, Melanie brings a well-rounded perspective to her role. She’s passionate about travel and loves creating experiences that feel unique, memorable, and a little adventurous.
Melanie has since made Queenstown her permanent home. As part of the Sales & Reservations team, she loves helping guests create unique, memorable and adventurous experiences. Outside of work, you’ll often find her outdoors – running, hiking, or discovering somewhere new.
Lyndal
PROPERTY MANAGEMENT
With 25 years of experience in property management, Lyndal’s career started in Brisbane before she and her husband, Murray, returned to New Zealand in 2015.
Overseeing a broad portfolio of luxury properties, Lyndal’s keen problem-solving abilities and steadfast dedication guarantee that each property she manages surpasses expectations. For her, property management is not just a profession—it’s a passion and a commitment to excellence.
Murray
PROPERTY MANAGEMENT
Drawing from his background in the Telecommunications and Construction sectors across New Zealand and Australia, Murray brings extensive business and project management experience.
Specialising in infrastructure projects, construction, and preventative maintenance, Murray is dedicated to implementing effective maintenance programs and promptly addressing issues. This ensures every aspect of your property is carefully and proactively maintained.
From minor repairs like loose door handles to complex systems such as heating and cooling, boilers, irrigation, water filtration, and overall building durability, Murray ensures a wide range of needs and repairs can be handled timely and effectively.
Loes
PROPERTY MANAGEMENT
Loes’s love for the outdoors is perfectly complemented by her dedication to the properties we manage and care for.
After working in Queenstown’s property management sector in 2015 and 2016, Loes was enchanted by New Zealand’s breathtaking landscapes. Her passion for property management brought her back from the Netherlands to New Zealand in 2022.
With her extensive experience in property management, Loes adds considerable expertise to our team. As a key member of our team and a high achiever in all areas of her life — whether scaling mountains or managing your home — Loes ensures that your property is in expert hands.
Tess
MARKETING
Tess was born and raised in Invercargill. She spent her years after high school working in Queenstown in tourism while studying communications and public relations and later completing her MBA at Otago University.
After living and working in Sydney, Tess and her husband moved home to Queenstown in 2016. She fell back in love with tourism and has been working with MajorDomo since 2019 – perfect timing right….if you know, you know!
When she can, Tess loves to travel. She has ticked several countries and cities off her ‘to-see’ list and is looking forward to visiting Italy next. Tess is also a busy mama of three and spends her spare time with her gorgeous family and dog, Willow.
