The Lodge nestles amongst 17 acres of gardens (ranked as being of national significance), on the banks of the mighty Waikato River, upstream from the Huka Falls. All 18 Junior Lodge Suites, one double suite and the two private cottages enjoy views of the hypnotic and powerful deep turquoise-green waters as they flow by. The Lodge grounds enclose a tennis court, a heated swimming pool, spa pools, petanque and croquet courts.
Huka Lodge lies within the stunning central plateau region of the North Island – renowned for its panoramic landscape. The entire area abounds in recreational pursuits – golf, horse trekking, white and black water rafting, trout fishing, aquatic adventure, nature walks, mountain biking, and with many more unique experiences also available.
JUNIOR LODGE SUITES: French doors open onto the wooden terrace beyond and all 18 Junior Lodge Suites face the mesmerising deep turquoise waters of the Waikato River. The bathrooms offer a decadent deep bath and twin basins. Dressing rooms are both large and generous in proportion, with room to truly make yourself at home during your stay.
LODGE SUITE: The Lodge Suite is light and spacious with a bedroom with a super-king split bed, a lounge area with writing desk, a large walk-through dressing room and a beautiful en suite bathroom including bath, shower and twin basins. Another connecting room offers a well-appointed lounge, with dining area. This features a cosy gas fireplace and boasts the same style of en suite bathroom as its companion room. Both rooms enjoy French doors that open out to an outdoor wooden terrace with river views, and this suite is surrounded on three sides by natural bush and manicured gardens.
Also available at Huka Lodge is The Owner’s Cottage and its companion the Alan Pye Cottage. These luxury accommodations present the ultimate Huka Lodge experience and each come with their own private butler and personal chef and a private swimming pool and spa. Ideal for a private party of friends or family, these stunning cottages are two of the world’s most exclusive private hideaways.
