Kahurangi is a Maori word which translates to Kahu – a white feather cloak and Rangi – the sky. A perfect name for a villa that has such gorgeous sky views and overlooks The Remarkables mountain range and its gentle layer of white cloud – the cloak.

The villa is designed and furnished in a bespoke Scandinavian style and offers plenty of space to spread out and unwind. On the upper level of the holiday home, the living area opens up to a large sunny terrace with those classic Queenstown panoramic lake views. Here you can relax with a glass of wine, or dine al fresco. Inside, the modern kitchen is a perfect gathering spot for friends and family and the ideal space to have one of our chef’s come and cook for you in house one evening, with a large dining table set beneath an antler chandelier.  Downstairs, there are four bedrooms – two are ensuite and two share a beautiful large bathroom.  The spa pool is also situated downstairs on a private deck with fantastic views towards Lake Wakatipu – great for relaxing after a busy day exploring Queenstown.

Kahurangi is located right beside Braeside, another four bedroom chalet, so for guests wanting to travel with a larger group, this side by side option is a winner!
