Cargo at Gantley’s – Arthurs Point, Queenstown

Step inside the historic stone walls and set yourself around the roaring fire. 

Kids can play on the large lawn area if they’ve still got some energy to burn whilst you sit back and relax after a day on the slopes. 

Just a 1 minute drive from the base of Coronet Peak, Cargo offers local brews. The mouth-watering burgers provide a great option for families looking for a feed.

Broken Heart Gin Garden – Arthurs Point, Queenstown

Locally distilled and loving handcrafted, this boutique tasting room offers award winning flavours that will warm you from the inside out. 

From tasting flights, cocktails, bubbles or beer there is something for all palettes here. This intimate setting makes a great option for couples looking to wet the whistle following a day at Coronet Peak.

Fork & Tap – Arrowtown

A hub of laughter, good times and hearty meals, the relaxed atmosphere is perfect for both groups and families. 

This little gastropub welcomes you in like one of the locals. It’s a great place to share stories, meet new people and quite possibly pat a dog or two!

Cardrona Hotel – Wanaka

Established in 1863, this is one of the oldest and most iconic hotels in New Zealand. 

Situated on the Crown Range, between Queenstown & Wanaka, it surely couldn’t be better placed for après-ski.

Glasshouses on the lawn provide welcomed shelter on those drizzly days. Grab yourself a freshly baked treat and get cosy by the fire.

The Bunker – Queenstown

Tucked away on Cow Lane and split across 2 levels, The Bunker and Upstairs @ The Bunker are poised and ready to cater to all of your après-ski needs. 

Intimate fine dining, roaring fire and dark mood lighting sets the scene for a romantic night at The Bunker. 

Afterwards, head upstairs for a more lively atmosphere. The crisp cocktails, social scene and late night music will sing to your soul.

Attiqua & Sundeck Rooftop Bar – Queenstown

Split across two levels, cocktail bar Attiqua serves a selection of tasty tapas for you to indulge in. Afterwards, head upstairs to the rooftop, otherwise known as Sundeck. 

Transition from the dark, ambient lighting to lively social scene to keep the après-ski vibes going well into the night. 

Grab yourself a mulled wine and head to the firepits for an evening of chatter all whilst overlooking the beloved Lake Wakitipu.
