“Influences from the landscape abound. The house is located by a lake formed by glacial action, so boulders and stones cover the surrounding snowcapped mountains and beaches on the lakeshore.
Some of the home’s basins and baths are made from the larger boulders and in the ‘wine cave’, these rocks have been incorporated into the walls and ceiling. The fabrics in the home were also chosen with care to reflect natural materials found in the local countryside.“
