Set atop 6,000 acres of rolling countryside in Hawke’s Bay, New Zealand, Rosewood Cape Kidnappers is home to the Hawke’s Bay Four Bedroom Villa, the largest accommodation on the property. This exclusive sanctuary sleeps up to 8 guests, making it perfect for large groups of friends and family.

The villa has four ensuite bedrooms, each with an open fireplace, a spacious bathroom and a private balcony overlooking the estate and the expanse of Hawke’s Bay. The ensuite bathrooms have twin vanities and oversized bathtubs, and each bedroom has a walk-in wardrobe, mini-bar and television.

The villa has a large lounge with a stone fireplace, an open kitchen and dining area designed for a private chef, and an entrance foyer. The master wing and guest wing give everyone their own space. Outside, there’s an expansive stone terrace with an outdoor jacuzzi, a sheltered courtyard and an outdoor barbecue.

Daily housekeeping is included. Private transfers can be arranged with the concierge for an additional fee.

Guests can enjoy the resort’s facilities, including The Dining Room and private dining, the spa and the outdoor pool. The Cape Kidnappers Golf Course is on the property, set on dramatic cliffs with arresting sea views. Other experiences include the Shepherding Tour, where you can watch traditional sheep shearing and the mustering of sheep with New Zealand Huntaway dogs, and the Cape Sanctuary Tour, where you can see conservation in action.

Good to know: Check-in is from 2:00 PM and check-out is at 11:00 AM. The resort is smoke-free, doesn’t allow pets or drones, and is child-friendly, with free cribs for children up to 24 months.
