Set on 9.5 ha of regenerated native bush and lush pastures, with a splendid array of native birds which bring the property to life with bird song, you will ease into total relaxation the moment you arrive.  The villa has a large dining and lounge room, a media room, and a well-equipped modern kitchen allowing you to prepare your own meals.  The outdoor entertaining area is home to a BBQ and pizza oven – perfect for catering to large groups, and guests can make the most of the beautiful grounds and dine outdoors amid the sounds of the Coromandel wildlife.  If you prefer to let someone else do the cooking a chef can be on hand (by arrangement) to create fresh seasonal dishes or for a more relaxed dining experience your hosts can organise pre-prepared meals or return transfers to local eateries in the town nearby. 

Mercury Ridge is built with relaxed comfort in mind and offers five king suites, each with its own unique appeal and its own private en suite, and three of which can be split to host 2 single beds.  Each room is set up with tea and coffee-making facilities, and beautiful private outdoor space overlooking the countryside and the sparkling waters of the bay.

The local area offers plenty to enjoy:  Next door to the property is a boutique family owned vineyard and winery and the region’s star attractions of Cathedral Cove and Hot Water Beach are a short 10-minute drive away.  Stunning walks like the Shakespeare Cliff lookout, and Lonely Bay are just 5 minutes away and the coastal town of Whitianga is just a short 5-minute drive followed by a 5-minute passenger ferry away. For those looking for a quick escape from Auckland, Hamilton or Tauranga, or wanting to arrange a scenic flight of the region, Mercury Ridge has its own private helipad onsite, making access speedy and seamless.
