The Lodge offers luxury accommodation in twelve beautifully appointed guest suites, with eight outlying suites and four suites located in the main lodge. The luxurious suites are nestled in a native forest overlooking Lake Wakatipu and the mountain panorama.

The main lodge consists of spacious lounge, dining and living areas, all with views of Lake Wakatipu. The twelve rooms are made up of a variety of options for you to choose from:

LAKE VIEW DELUXE ROOM: The entry level rooms are located on the upper level of the main lodge and offer lovely views of the lake and mountains.  This room type has a cosy feel and is a great option for guests travelling with children as it offers an interconnecting option with a Deluxe Suite.

LAKE VIEW JUNIOR SUITE: Positioned along the lakefront, the suites enjoy access to their private balconies overlooking Lake Wakatipu. Of the four Suites, two are outlying and two are situated within the main lodge building.

GRAND LAKE VIEW JUNIOR SUITE:  The most luxurious rooms, the Deluxe Suites at Matakauri Lodge are largest in size with the bedroom set apart on a mezzanine floor and a fantastic mountain outlook from their generous bathrooms and oversized baths their large bathrooms so you can soak up the views whilst you soak in the tub. Of the seven Deluxe Suites, six are outlying while one is housed within the main lodge building.
