The beautifully restored Hulbert House dates back to 1888 and offers six uniquely designed bedroom suites that all have stunning views overlooking Lake Wakatipu or the Skyline Hill.

Hulbert House is available for MajorDomo guests as an exclusive use villa which is perfect for groups of friends wishing to enjoy some privacy yet share communal space to come together. We can also book the suites individually if you are looking for a romantic retreat for two close to central Queenstown.

Each suite has it’s own unique character, with modern and quirky stylings which feel luxurious and special, and each is named after a local connected to the history of the cottage. The Palm Lounge of Hulbert House is the perfect spot to come together and enjoy the daily complimentary breakfast, refreshments during the day and pre-dinner drinks and canapés before you head downtown to one of the many restaurants and bars. Externally, the victorian style terrace is a beautiful spot to sit and watch the world pass by, overlooking Queenstown Bay.

It is an easy one block walk down into the vibrant Queenstown town centre yet when you are at ‘home’ Hulbert House is in it’s own oasis of peaceful serenity.
