Blake House Taupo

Blake House is part of the iconic fishing lodge, Poronui but is nestled privately about 10 minutes drive away on the property. This stunning villa sits on a promontory overlooking the Taharua River and is available on an exclusive-use basis.

The building was designed by renowned New Zealand architect John Blair and reflects New Zealand pioneering style.

There are two expansive lounges each with high ceilings and an open fireplace. A full kitchen, dining area, library and den form the central living space. 

There are four private ensuited bedrooms, with additional accommodation available in two luxurious bunkrooms each with four single bunks, sleeping a total of 16 guests.

You will enjoy full use of the facilities at the Poronui stables including the sauna, steam room, gymnasium, snooker room and wine cellar.
