Wanaka isn’t very far from Queenstown. If you have a vehicle you can enjoy a scenic drive over the Crown Range with a stop at the famous Cardrona Hotel or mosey through the Kawarau Gorge on State Highway 6 through to Cromwell. Either of these journeys has amazing views and some really special photo opportunities to enjoy.
