Queenstown

Dinner & Concert with Neil Finn – 11 November

We are so excited about this event – enjoying amazing entertainment while supporting a wonderful charity – the perfect combination! This will be a night to remember with iconic singer/songwriter and So They Can Ambassador, Neil Finn, in the picturesque Central Otago region. Join Neil Finn and the So They Can team for an intimate dinner and concert to celebrate So They Can’s work and achievements in poor communities in Kenya and Tanzania. You will also have a chance to win a diamond and an exclusive performance by Neil Finn.

Air New Zealand Queenstown International Marathon – 19 November

Having had some of the MajorDomo team run in this event as well as volunteer, we highly recommend being part of this one if you can! Set between the backdrop of the Crown and Remarkables mountain ranges, you’ll take in the best highlights of the Queenstown Lakes Region. If you haven’t already entered but would like to “feel the high without the sweat”, consider volunteering to be part of the fun.

2016 Queenstown International golf tournament – 20-24 November

Stunning golf courses, amazing local cuisine and Central Otago’s world-famous Pinot Noir – where can we sign up!? Hosted by Greg Turner and Lucas Parsons, this international teams event is played across three days with two rounds at the magnificent Millbrook Resort and one round at Jack’s Point. The package includes three rounds of tournament golf, four nights at Millbrook Resort, three evening functions, daily breakfast and lunch and a New Zealand Golf and Travel tournament playing kit.

Thriller in the Chiller (Charity Boxing Event) – 26 November

Queenstown’s premier charity boxing event at the Queenstown Events Centre is the ultimate Christmas Party! Now in its seventh year and always a sell-out, the Thriller in the Chiller is a “must do” event on Queenstown’s social calendar and is one of the top charity boxing events in New Zealand. This year The Branches Charitable Trust is the recipient charity.

Remarkables Markets – Every Saturday

A weekend favourite of ours! The markets at the Remarkables Park Red Barn are back for the season! Stroll down after 9am on Saturday morning and check out local artisans selling crafts and gifts, and a tasty selection of local produce on offer.

Christchurch

Manderley Home & Garden Festival – 5-6 November

An oldie but a goodie! At Manderley you can browse 140 carefully selected boutique stalls with a clever mix of food, wine and craft beers set within the stunning grounds of Manderley gardens on the gorgeous Banks Peninsula (just 45 minutes drive from the centre of Christchurch). Whether it’s a relaxing day in the country, a family picnic or watching performances in the garden, Manderley promises a relaxing day out rain or shine.

New Zealand Cup & Show Week – 5-12 November

New Zealand’s largest and most exciting spring festival is on again in Christchurch with eight action packed days of heart pounding racing, fashion in the field and family fun at the show. One of the highlights of the week includes Australasia’s most prominent harness racing event held on the 8th of November at Addington Raceway.

Blackcaps v Pakistan 1st ANZ Cricket Test – 17-21 November

Grab your friends and family to experience the stadium summer buzz, the costumes and the nail biting excitement of the 1st ANZ cricket test between the New Zealand Blackcaps and Pakistan.

Hawke’s Bay

Hawke’s Bay Farmers’ Market – Every Sunday

This is a must-do in sunny Hawke’s Bay! Meander around the beautiful grounds with a freshly roasted coffee while you taste and shop for locally made produce at one of New Zealand’s largest and longest running Farmers’ Markets. Open every Sunday from 8.30am-12.30pm at the Hawke’s Bay A&P Showgrounds.

The Musical has already been seen by close to 6 million people and grossed in excess of $US600 million worldwide to become the most successful Australian musical of all time!
