Preparing for your Queenstown for a Ski Holiday but unsure what to get up to when the ski slopes shut for the day and the sun sets? We’ve put together a list of our top 5 favourite winter evening activities to enjoy after the sun has gone to sleep:
1) Night Bungy
If you thought bungy jumping was terrifying, try it at night time when the darkness hides the bottom and you feel like you are jumping
2) Wine Tasting
Missed the tasting rooms to get in another couple of turns on the hill? No problem! The Winery on Beach Street has a HUGE selection of wines for tasting, and are open after hours. The Winery’s central location in town makes it the perfect après spot to taste local and international wines after a tough day on the mountain.

The Ice Bar is a bit of a novelty, but lots of fun, and great for ALL ages (including kids). Marvel over the ever-changing, colourfully lit, ice sculptures and enjoy a cheeky cocktail (or non-alcoholic ‘mocktail’ if you are that way inclined…) from glasses made entirely of ice. They will also provide you with lovely warm jackets and gloves to wrap up in, so no need to bring the ski gear!
