Minaret Station currently has four individual standalone suites and a communal lodge. The lodge boasts two living areas and a dining area, all positioned in a beautiful alpine valley. Each suite has a pair of binoculars so that you can spot the native wildlife on the surrounding alpine hills. However you certainly won’t spot any signs of civilization from this location!

Alternatively, the Fiordland Traverse trip is a great option for those who wish to see Milford Sound, but avoid the masses. Here you can experience some of the more ‘off the beaten track’ locations around Fiordland National Park and the rugged and wild West Coast.
