As you enter the home, the art lined entrance way guides you to the rear of the property towards the high vaulted ceilings in the living room and kitchen. Both are bright and airy spaces that feel equally homely and grand, and have sliding doors that connect to the outdoors for breezy indoor/outdoor flow.  A separate media/library room down the hall is perfect for cosy movie nights, the entertainment options in this villa are endless. 

Arrowtown Retreat Features

The property features four bedrooms and four (and a half) bathrooms.  The four bedrooms are all generously sized and all have their own en suite. The large master bedroom on the ground floor overlooks the garden and features a beautifully finished en suite with a deep soaking bathtub and separate shower.  The second bedroom is also on the ground floor and opens up to the garden, whilst bedrooms three and four are found upstairs. There is the option of adding on the rumpus room which has bedding options with access to another bathroom and the games room.

Outdoors, the magic of this home really starts to sparkle. A large open fireplace is flanked by a pizza oven and BBQ grill. Together with a lounge area, dining table and superb Sonos sound system they make up the outdoor entertainment pit – we’re picturing an evening next to the fireplace, a glass of pinot in hand, as you enjoy a pizza night with the family.  A seasonally heated swimming pool* is perfect for adults and children alike, and the spa pool offers a peaceful spot to retreat to and relax at the end of the day – there is also an outdoor WC to service the outdoor area.  Park-like gardens offer a spacious play area for children to burn off some energy in the fresh mountain air, and are beautifully maintained to create an oasis of greenery, with a selection of lawn games available at the house for guest use.

Arrowtown Location

Located less than 5 minutes’ drive from Arrowtown, and just 20 minutes from Queenstown, the location is peaceful yet easily accessible – and a foodies paradise!  Hop in the car to visit Arrowtown’s trendy cafes and restaurants or head in the opposite direction to Amisfield winery, which is also located just a few minutes’ drive along the road.  If you prefer to leave the car at home, Just a 2-minute stroll from this home will have you at Mora & Artisan (formerly known as Akarua & Artisan), one of Queenstown’s most popular restaurants and cellar door tasting rooms, serving breakfast and lunch.  You’ll also find some of the regions best golf courses on your doorstep, an array of biking and hiking trails to explore and the beautifully photogenic Lake Hayes just down the road from this rural location.
