With the imminent arrival of level 2 (hopefully in the very near future), we are waiting with open arms to welcome back our kiwi friends, as domestic travel restrictions are to be lifted. Whilst we are very excited to resume travelling around the great Aotearoa again, level 2 still requires operators to be vigilant and conscious of the risks, and here at MajorDomo we take the safety of our guests as paramount.

If you’re anything like us, you will have missed dining out, but it has been fantastic to see the ingenuity of local eating establishments adjusting their offering to suit the level 3 restrictions – we have seen some amazing takeaway options available from some of our favourite restaurants, meaning you can enjoy a divine dish from the comfort of your villa or holiday home without stepping foot inside a restaurant.
A big fan of our in-villa private chef services? We can even arrange for a contactless private chef experience! Your exclusive chef will prep some delicious food for you, (delivered with contactless delivery) and then set up an online zoom meeting with you to guide you through the final stages of cooking and serving. If you’re sneaky enough, you could try and take full credit and impress the family with your newfound cooking skills….
Now is the time to start planning! We’ve all done a stellar job at stamping out Coronavirus here in New Zealand (bravo to you all), and once we do reach level two restrictions, we can all take the opportunity to celebrate any missed occasions, reunite and make up for lost time with loved ones, replace those international travel plans that have been cancelled for the year and play a part in backing-your-backyard and supporting local New Zealand companies.
