June is looking like it will be an action packed start to the ski season in Queenstown!

The incredible LUMA Southern Light Project is back this year with much anticipation! It’s a free event that showcases a stunning collection of light sculptures and installations around the gardens. The perfect end to a night after a delicious meal in Queenstown where you can wander around the gardens and be amazed – you’ll feel like you are in a true winter wonderland.

Queenstown Winter Festival | 22-25 June 2017

Street parties, music, comedy, family fun and madness up the mountain – this week of festivities is famous for a reason and promises something fun for everyone!

Since the first ever festival in 1975, it has evolved into New Zealand's - and perhaps the southern hemisphere's - biggest celebration of winter! The event attracts more than 30,000 visitors, all celebrating the arrival of winter in true Queenstown style! Not to be missed if you’re travelling through the South Island in June!
